| Alan Sparboe named 2005 Chef of the Year by the Chefs and Cooks of Montana. Alan's culinary degree comes from the New England Culinary Institute, voted Cooking School of the Year 2004 by the International Association of Culinary Professionals. He has since used that training in establishments as well known as the Chicago Hilton and Towers and the Four Seasons Hotel of Chicago. Alan brought both education and experience back to Montana when he joined the Billings Petroleum Club and Jake's Restaurant in 1997. He has since opened The Granary after an extensive remodel and currently serves as the Executive Chef. Congratulations, Alan!
